Presently MORION manufactures the whole range of quartz oscillators, including OCXOs, TCXOs, VCXOs, combined OVCXOs and simple XOs. At the same time Oven Controlled Oscillators is the field where MORION has gained the biggest experience and where MORION is able to ensure the best combination of parameters achievable at reasonable price.

Satisfying the increasingly complex and demanding requirements of its Customers, MORION develops and manufactures a wide variety of for precision quartz oscillators. Our flexible manufacturing technology permits us to adapt these basic models according to your particular specifications within a broad range of customised parameters.

In particular our base model oscillators offer the following main features:

• High Frequency Stability vs. temperature
  - up to ±5 x 10^-11;
• High Long-term Frequency stability
  - up to 1 x 10^-8 /year;
• High Short-term Frequency stability (Allan Variance)
  - up to 5 x 10^-13 for 1 sec;
• Low Phase Noise - up to:
  -115 dBc/Hz at 1 Hz offset and
  -160 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset;
  
• Short Warm-Up Time - up to 30 sec;
• Low Power Consumption - up to 0.2 W;
• Standard Cases and pin-out, both metric & English units;
• Small Size - up to 1"x1"x0.5" for a precision OCXO;
• Resistance to Severe Environmental Conditions.

In general the whole range of OCXOs produced by MORION may be divided into two major categories: based on precision Cold Weld crystals and based on Internally Heated Quartz Resonators (IHQRs). Oscillators based on Cold Weld crystals ensure top level of frequency stability combined with compact size. Oscillators based on IHQRs provide high frequency stability combined with very low power consumption, fast warm-up and high resistance to vibrations and shocks.

This ranges from Ultra Precision Double Oven Oscillators to High Frequency Low Phase Noise Oscillator and from Low Profile Precision Oscillators to Fast Warm-up Low Power Consumption ones.
